Dziga Vertov meets Leni Riefenstahl's sidekick Walter Ruttmann meets Boston cabaret band The Dresden Dolls. It seems like these old cinematographers had an affection for mannequin dummies which are represented in the films I've decided to build this music video on: Vertov's Man With a Movie Camera (1929) and Walter Ruttmann's Berlin: Symphony of a Great City (1927).
